With around 230.000 members, the Public Service Union is the second largest trade union of the 9 trade unions of the ÖGB. We are non-partisan. All those who are committed to the principles of democracy and solidarity, and thus to the statutes of the ÖGB, have their home in the GÖD.

All professional groups are united in the 26 federal representations: General administrative service, craftsmen, teachers, executives, doctors and nursing staff, judges, university and college teachers as well as military personnel - they all have their strong representation of interests in the GÖD.
