The site of Open House Oberwart is online now.
The Oberwart Open House was founded in 1980, back then as the "Jugendhaus Association". One of the main areas of responsibility falls to the house: to develop and maintain the creative discourse of an entire region, which is to be achieved through the leverage effect of contemporary art.
The reorientation of the Oberwart Open House in 2004 made it possible to bring numerous new, interesting artists into the house.
In recent years, the areas of modern dance, literature, theatre, young art and music, film and fine arts have developed particularly well in the house.
Interdisciplinary annual projects, discussion events, concerts or other youth culture events are also held here again and again.
