Insights into the roots of Austria - we are very happy about the implementation of the new website for the Austrian open-air museum in Stübing.
The Stübing open-air museum is one of the 10 largest open-air museums in Europe and therefore also one of the most popular destinations for families in Styria. On an exciting journey through time through the rural history of Austria, visitors get to know the characteristic historical house landscapes of different federal states, various rural buildings and their past.
Village pond, panoramic trail, children's area, rest and picnic areas as well as various special exhibitions make the trip into the world of yesteryear an exciting and unforgettable experience.
The museum combines cultural heritage from 6 centuries and was awarded the ICOM (UNESCO) seal of quality as an internationally recognized open-air museum in 2002.
In addition to guided tours and workshops for visitors of all ages, guests can enjoy homemade pastries and coffee specialties in the museum café. A dedicated museum shop offers the opportunity to take home a small souvenir in the form of work pieces, utensils for home and garden, culinary products, historical games, etc.
