The Graz Salon Orchestra – a unique ensemble consisting of 14 highly professional musicians from all over the world. We would now like to present the new website of the association and thank you very much for the great cooperation!
With their shared love of the Austrian salon orchestra tradition and under the direction of a philharmonic standing violinist, the Graz Salon Orchestra inspires at numerous balls, New Year's and open-air concerts.
In addition to current concert programs and classical dance music, the association also runs courses, consulting and lecture activities on a wide variety of topics of salon music culture.
The association is not only known in Austria, inquiries from other European countries and Asia confirm the success of the extraordinary ensemble.
A wide-ranging repertoire, with a focus on the compositions of the twice Oscar-nominated composer Robert Stolz, make the orchestra's performances an unforgettable experience. Works from the golden and silver operetta era as well as captivating interpretations from well-known films and musicals give the ensemble a very personal and contemporary touch.
