Surrounded by vineyards and beautiful landscape lies in the Mythenreich Südsteirisches Weinland nature park Vineyard of the Maier family vlg. Winkelbauer. Having started decades ago as a wine dealer, the business has now developed into a magnificent winery including a quality wine tavern with guest rooms and a great outdoor area. Between 15.000 and 20.000 liters of wine are pressed in the family business every year. Kloche-Traminer
Comparable to the "scent of the rose", grow in Klöch, the pearl of the southern Styrian wine region, the Traminer wines from numerous winegrowers. A special climate, as well as the nutrient-rich volcanic soil are responsible for the full-bodied juice and scent of the Traminer and Gewürztraminer, which are particularly characterized by the pure and rich bouquet of hybrid tea. In the heart of southern Styria, near the southern Styrian wine route, the family-run Weißenbacher Winery to enjoy and relax. Around nine grape varieties grow here on around 4 hectares of vineyards.
