The advertising industry is increasingly relying on the Internet. According to www.orf.at, 81 percent of advertisers want to spend more on online marketing in the current year, reported the European Association of Online Marketers, EIAA, in September 2008 in London.
Eight out of ten companies allocate parts of their budget to advertising Print, TV, Radio and Direct marketing around. The EIAA surveyed marketing decision-makers from leading companies in Europe.
According to the survey, advertisers see the Internet as an important tool for influencing purchasing decisions, for the direct sale and the customer retention.
