New features in KundenMeister: Updates 2.9.1 and 2.9.2

ipad_kundenmeister_thumbOur technicians have been particularly busy again in the last few weeks and have ours KundenMeister® brought into shape. The result: Updates 2.9.1 and 2.9.2.
Here is an overview of the most important new functions:

General

  • Administrators can now log in to the user management in the name of another client without knowing their password.
  • Changes in the comments are now also visible in the log.
  • The description of the appointments in the calendar can now be edited with an HTML editor. This allows formatting (links, bold type, etc.).
  • A responsible person (e.g. department manager) can be assigned to each user group. The department head can then manage the tasks.
  • Project managers can manage the times of the project staff if the new right "Project times" is set in the user group. In addition, the project schedule can be made available to a group with read access.

Invoices

  • A new subscription system was implemented with which invoices can be automatically created for different intervals and customer products.
  • The invoice date can be edited.

Search

  • The task desktop, the time tracking and the calendar now also have a quick search in the top right, just like in the other modules.
  • The detailed search now also contains one contact map, which displays the search results on the map. The result can be grouped by contact groups, so that several groups are displayed in different colors at the same time.
  • The lists in the detailed search (e.g. in the contact groups) can now also be checked/unchecked by just clicking on the name. You no longer have to click the checkbox exactly.
  • The dynamic attributes in the detailed search can now also be searched against not equal. So if you search for a first name that is not equal to “franz”, you will find all entries in the search results whose first name does not contain the term “franz”.

store and products

  • The interface in the shop management has been optimized so that it is now possible to work faster and more efficiently. Management is now simple and clear, even with thousands of products.
  • You can now work with linked products (related products, accessories, “you might also be interested in this”, etc.) and with combined products (products that are made up of two individual products).
  • Dynamic attributes can be assigned globally. This means that the attributes apply to all products and not just to individual categories.
  • In the product assignments in the detail view, the customer can now also assign a number.

Tasks

  • It can now be specified in the task desktop whether the user has the right to delete or rename a task.
  • Task lists can now be exported by the administrator. The formats Excel and PDF are available. When exporting to PDF, the current list view (e.g. sorting by project or all tasks by an employee) is taken into account during generation.
  • A filter has been integrated into the list view of the tasks, which makes it possible to search in the list.
  • The number of tasks to be displayed can be set in the desktop.
  • Tasks can now be assigned to a new task type “General”.
  • Tasks can now in Calendar being represented. The administrator can choose between the individual task calendars of the employees. Department managers can manage the calendars for the employees in the group.

Contacts

  • GPS coordinates can now be imported and edited to be used for the customer map.
  • There is a new option in the permissions for contact editing: Selected users can only edit those contacts for which they are entered as responsible. The other contacts do not contain any information that would enable contact to be made. Only first name, last name and date of birth are displayed.
  • Contact groups can be created automatically during import.
  • Dynamic attributes are taken into account when merging duplicates in the contacts.
  • The department can now also be imported with the contact details.
  • Countries no longer have to be specified in the two-digit ISO code when importing, and country names in German and English are now also accepted.

Newsletter

In the distribution lists in the newsletter dispatch overview, it is now possible to select or deselect all contacts at once.
